Freedom pass here in June

As of June, young people will have access to free bus travel thanks to Kent's Tory-run County Council.

Kent's 'Freedom Pass' is being rolled out to all school-aged people from June. I welcome the news, which will give young people independence, whilst encouraging safe and sustainable transport.

If you want a pass, you will need to make a one-off payment of £50 and provide a clear passport photo, but the scheme is entirely free after this.

More information will be available shortly - I certainly look forward to talking about this success story as I go from door to door around Fant.
